SHIPPING
Do you offer free shipping and how much do I need to spend to get it?
Free shipping is available for all Canadian orders over CA$150 and USA orders over CA$275(before sales tax or shipping charges). Keep in mind that shipping can get pricey, Salt & Seaweed items are heavy! Soap bars are a hefty 4+ oz, and all my body products are packaged in glass containers because it's better for the integrity of the product and the environment. All of these factors contribute to the price of shipping.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
Yes, Salt & Seaweed is happy to expedite orders - please select "Next-Day Shipping" at checkout. All orders are shipped with Expedited Canada Post which includes tracking.
Do you ship to the USA or Internationally?
Salt & Seaweed has many happy customers in the USA. I’ll take extra care to package your products for cross-border travel. I do not ship outside of Canada/USA at this time due to tariffs, duty, and high shipping costs. Please note that Salt & Seaweed is not responsible for any customs fees or duties incurred on shipments outside of Canada. All orders are shipped with Expedited Canada Post or UPS which includes tracking.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
As soon as you place your order, the process of creating your beautiful “unboxing” experience begins. I know just how excited you are to receive your order, and unless a product becomes unexpectedly out of stock, all orders are shipped out within 2-4 business days with Expedited Canada Post or UPS and come with a tracking number sent to your registered email address. Shipping times vary from 3 to 5 business days within Canada and a little longer to the US. Please allow appropriate time for your package to arrive. If you need your products sooner rather than later, choose expedited shipping (pricey, but gets the job done). These shipping options are available when you check out.
Can I check the status of my order?
You can track the status of your order with the tracking link sent to your registered email once the shipping has been processed.
Why does my tracking information say “not valid” when I click the tracking link sent to my email?
Tracking information often takes 24-48 hours to update in the carrier's system, so please check back if this occurs. If tracking information still reads invalid after 48 hours contact: info@saltandseaweedapothecary.com and I will be glad to assist!

Refunds & Exchanges
I am confident that you will love your new skincare, however, if for any reason you are not happy, please contact me at nicole@saltandseaweedapothecary.com. Due to the personal nature of skincare products, refunds or exchanges are only accepted on unused and unopened products that have followed the storage guidelines, within 15 days of receiving products. Note that you will need to pay shipping related costs to return or exchange items.
My order says "delivered" but wasn’t delivered to my order address
Please contact info@saltandseaweedapothecary.com if your package did not arrive, but your tracking number shows a confirmed delivery. Canada Post or UPS will contact you to ask questions about your mail delivery service, and about possible whereabouts of the package, etc. This process can take one week to a month. PLEASE NOTE: Salt & Seaweed does not offer replacements if an incorrect shipping address is provided, and shipments tracked are displayed as "delivered". Salt & Seaweed is not responsible for lost, misplaced or stolen packages. If your order shipped with CANADA POST or UPS, they include $100 order insurance. Salt & Seaweed will contact you to ask how you'd like to proceed. Salt & Seaweed is not responsible for your order once it is delivered to the post office. If you require addition insurance on your order, please contact nicole@saltandseaweedapothecary.com.
My order arrived damaged
Upon receiving your package, if you see an issue please contact me immediately (with 24 hours of delivery) and include photos documenting the issue. I will do my best to rectify the problem but depending on circumstance, I can’t guarantee a credit or a refund. If your package was damaged during shipment by the carrier, please save the box and the merchandise as you will be asked to show proof at the post office. No refunds will be processed without photo documentation.
Termination of Agreements
Salt & Seaweed Apothecary has the right to terminate a transaction for any reason, at any time. Please afford me the courtesy of patience, grace, and kindness, as I assist you with your inquiry.
