Rub bar between your hands to create a rich lather, or rub the bar directly onto hair, working from the top to the bottom to avoid tangles. Massage lather into the hair and scalp - such an amazing amount of lather! Rinse thoroughly.
Caution: For external use only. Contains nut oils.
What can I do to make my shampoo bar last?
If you want your shampoo bar to last longer, be sure to keep it in a dry place within your shower or bathroom where there is excellent airflow so it can dry completely between uses. I like to stand my soap up on a soap dish with drainage holes.
New to Shampoo Bars?
You’ll love how they leave your hair feeling delightfully, quite different. Commercial, chemically laden detergent shampoos strip away the natural protective oils of your scalp, promoting increased oil production to compensate. Your scalp adjusts to this unnatural cycle of excess oil production, and as you transition to a natural shampoo bar, your scalp will need time to regulate scalp oil production, sometimes leaving your hair feeling greasy or heavy. Your hair may require a transition period before it is completely free of all chemicals and residues from commercial hair care products, while your scalp re-balances the production of scalp oil. Using organic & natural ingredients keeps the natural oils from your hair and scalp intact, creating a whole different shampoo experience that will leave your hair feeling clean, silky soft, manageable & radiantly healthy!
Simple Vinegar Rinse Recipe
Apple Cider Vinegar removes build-up and residue from hair shafts to cleanse and clarify the hair and scalp without stripping the hair of its natural oils.
- Mix 1/2 to 4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with 8 ounces of water in a plastic squeeze bottle, spray bottle or cup
- Experiment to find a dilution that works best for your hair type (dry hair likes less Apple Cider Vinegar and oily hair likes more)
- Wet hair and spray, or pour the rinse on your hair and work it through. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, then shampoo with your shampoo bar
